It features ten questions about a given day in history and throughout the year we'll add a quiz for each day.

Ten questions about that day's news - ideal as a regular weekly round which will give teams the opportunity to swot up!

Teams get a series of clues which gradually decrease in value - For 10 points, "I was born in 1898", For 9 points I was born in Leytonstone London" etc.

When they are sure of the identity of the mystery person, place etc. they hand in their guess.

If correct, they get the points they are going for, if wrong they get 0 marks as they are allowed only one guess.

Great to break the quiz up - give bonus points if they name the connection.

Teams are given a printed list of 20 answers relating to that week's question - 10 of the answers are correct.

On the sheet given, teams mark up to 10 that they think might be correct - the catch?

If they get any wrong they are Wiped Out and will receive 0 marks
